currently working as Program Manager with Engineering &Research International (ERI) for Royal Commission Environmental Control Project in the Jubail Industrial City. He received his Ph.D. in Petroleum Technology from the Institute of Petroleum and Gas, Romania in 1981 and M. Tech. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Madras, India in 1974. He has more than 30 years of progressive experience in the field of environmental control. He has been serving the Royal Commission Environmental Protection and Control Department both Jubail and Yanbu for the past 25 years. Prior to that, he worked in Madras Refineries Ltd, in India for 6 years. His principal areas of experience include environmental permit processing, wastewater treatment, toxic and hazardous waste management, development and enforcement of environmental regulations and standards, etc.
